Madikwe Lelapa Lodge is equally elegant and family friendly. Lelapa Lodge shared areas perfectly marry rustic natural materials with sophisticated elegance. A choice of lounges, viewing decks, and a communal pool provide space for guests to relax, read a book, cool down on hot days, or simply enjoy the magical views together.
The lodge offers 12 Deluxe Suites, each with its own private viewing deck and plunge pool. The family units feature adjoining rooms for families with younger children.
Adventures at Lelapa include expert ranger-led twice-daily game drives, escorted bush walks, and fascinating bird watching. The photography, birding, astronomy, and tracking expertise of Lelapa Lodge guides will add tremendous value to your experience. Guests can also join on local community visits to partake in development programmes. These community visits take your safari to a new level, allowing you to learn about the vibrant local culture and heartfelt hospitality of the people.

Madikwe Game Reserve is located in the North Western Province of South Africa and lies on the South Africa/Botswana border.
Getting there:
- Madikwe airstrip is the closet airstrip.
- There are two daily scheduled return flights from Johannesburg to Madikwe Airstrip with Federal Airlines.
- Flight time: Johannesburg to Madikwe: 60 minutes
- Road transfers from Madikwe Airstrip to the lodge take approximately 15 – 30 minutes.
- The reserve is a 4 – 4.5-hour drive from Johannesburg.

Children policy
Children of all ages. More Details children aged 5 and younger are not permitted on game drives. A family game drive is offered for younger children after breakfast. A private vehicle can be arranged at an additional cost and will not be limited to occupants over 6 years old.

- If two children in their own room, one child is charged the adult rate
