Safari Destinations
From South Africa to Victoria Falls, we unlock wild places with heart and luxury.
Kruger National Park
Kruger National Park spans nearly 2 million hectares in northeastern South Africa, encompassing the Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces. Known for its rich biodiversity, Kruger is home to the Big Five – lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo, with the highest population density of these iconic animals in South Africa. The park also hosts a variety of other wildlife, including hippos, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, wild dogs, hyenas, warthogs, and numerous antelope and cat species, totaling approximately 147 mammal species and over 500 bird species.
Sabi Sands
Sabi Sands Game Reserve, located in the northeastern corner of South Africa within the Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces, shares an unfenced border with Kruger National Park. Known as one of the world’s premier safari destinations, Sabi Sands is 65,000 hectares in size and offers exclusive access to guests staying at its private reserves, ensuring uncrowded and intimate safari experiences. These reserves provide exceptional accommodations and unique activities such as off-road game drives, night drives, guided bush walks, and outdoor dining experiences, which are not permitted in Kruger. The reserve is particularly famous for its leopard sightings and offers some of the best safaris in Africa, guided by experienced rangers and Shangaan trackers who excel at navigating the terrain and tracking wildlife.
Madikwe
As the fifth largest game reserve in South Africa, Madikwe Game Reserve is an ecological wonderland spanning over 680 km². The vast landscape covers a transition region between Kalahari thornveld and Lowveld bushveld resulting in a rich diversity of fauna and flora from both ecosystems. Among these very ecosystems you will find a variety of Madikwe safari lodges providing unique accommodation and world class game drives.
Eastern Cape
Nestled on South Africa’s east coast at the top end of the Garden Route, the Eastern Cape is an extraordinary destination for anyone looking to embark on a safari adventure. This region not only serves as a perfect starting or ending point for exploring the country’s southeast coast but also offers a rich tapestry of wildlife and natural beauty that captivates every visitor. The Eastern Cape’s private reserves are renowned for their diverse wildlife and are home to the iconic Big-5: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. While leopards are elusive and sightings are rare, the region boasts one of the largest populations of African elephants globally, providing magnificent close up elephant encounters. Alongside the Big-5, the reserves support a diverse array of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, hippos, cheetah, hyena, numerous antelope species and more.
KwaZulu Natal
Set along the warm Indian Ocean waters of South Africa’s east coast, KwaZulu Natal is a haven of natural splendour and a world class safari destination. Home to two UNESCO World Heritage sites the area is comprised of the vast mountain ranges of the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg through to the lakes and wetlands of the expansive iSimangaliso Wetland Park in St Lucia. The Drakensberg escarpment rises 3000m above sea level and boasts more rivers than any comparable area in the country. The northern coast is world-renowned for remarkable scuba diving while the Big 5 (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and buffalo) reside in the plains of Zululand. KwaZulu Natal safaris are renowned for their highly populated game reverse and diverse landscapes and vegetation.
Cape Town & Safari
Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the stunning landscapes of South Africa on a safari holiday like no other. Nestled in the southernmost tip of the African continent, South Africa boasts an incredible diversity of wildlife, breath-taking natural beauty, and a rich cultural heritage. From the vast plains of the iconic Kruger National Park to the rugged beauty of the Drakensberg Mountains, this country offers a myriad of experiences that will leave you in awe. Immerse yourself in the thriving ecosystems as you witness the Big Five – lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalos – in their natural habitat. Traverse through the golden savannahs, dense jungles, and meandering rivers, accompanied by expert guides who will unveil the secrets of the African wilderness. Our South African safari holidays offer an abundance of diverse experiences for families, friends or couples alike.
Mozambique
Set on Southeast Africa’s coastline, the banks of Mozambique are dotted with idyllic archipelagos of tropical islands. With azure Indian Ocean waters gently lapping the shores and palm-fringed beaches lined with soft golden sand, it has much to offer despite being off many traveler’s maps. In addition to its vibrant culture and colonial-style architecture, Mozambique is home to some of Africa’s finest marine playgrounds and seaside retreats.
Cape Town
From breath-taking wildlife, gold and diamonds, captivating mountainscapes, crystal beaches, and gourmet dining, Cape Town promises not to disappoint. The city is a melting pot of cultures intertwined with contemporary cafes, art, and upbeat nightlife. Just a short distance from the city you can find yourself strolling along beachfront walkways, hiking across picturesque mountain ranges, sipping wine at exclusive estates, or paragliding over an ocean of dolphins.
Victoria Falls
Embark on a breath-taking journey of thundering waterfalls, spectacular landscapes, intriguing wildlife, and epic adventures. The Victoria Falls are one of the top five largest waterfalls on the planet and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The cascading spectacle sees more than five hundred million cubic meters of water plummet over the gorge edge every minute during the rainy season. With columns of spray visible from miles away, it is no wonder that this spectacular site was named ‘The Smoke that Thunders’ by local tribes in the 1800s.
