Xigera Safari Lodge is a visionary and pioneering luxury safari experience located deep within Botswana’s Moremi Game Reserve, offering exclusive access to a pristine 4,500-hectare (11,120-acre) private wetland paradise in the heart of the Okavango Delta. This lodge redefines African bush experiences by blending cutting-edge design, sustainability, and unparalleled wildlife immersion.
Nestled on a large island surrounded by papyrus swamps, seasonal floodplains, and wooded islands, Xigera delivers breathtaking views and close encounters with a remarkable diversity of wildlife. Known for its exceptional population of sitatunga antelope, guests also regularly witness elephants, buffalo, lechwe, tsessebe, spotted-necked otters, lions, leopards, and hyenas. Unique to Xigera are dramatic sightings of predators such as lions and leopards crossing the lodge’s footbridge, creating unforgettable moments just steps from your suite.
The lodge itself is a masterpiece of African artistry and architectural innovation, seamlessly integrating the natural environment with elegant suites designed from flame-torched timber and canvas tent roofs. Each of the 12 suites is a private sanctuary with expansive indoor and outdoor living areas, luxurious bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, and private decks gazing over lily-filled lagoons and floodplains.
Beyond wildlife viewing, guests can indulge in a wide range of tailored experiences, from mokoro excursions gliding silently through papyrus-fringed waterways, to spa treatments inspired by the Delta’s flora, private yoga sessions, scenic helicopter flights, and the exclusive Baobab Treehouse sleepout for a once-in-a-lifetime connection with the African night sky.
