It is no surprise that Jamala Madikwe Royal Safari Lodge won the Best Bush Lodge at the 2022 World Luxury Hotel Awards. This is a place where organic opulence meets traditional warmth. It is a place where guests can leave behind everyday stresses and take time to simply listen to nature. With five exclusive luxurious suites, Jamala Madikwe offers complete serenity and guest privacy.
From each private villa to the main lodge, guests can savour views of the waterhole and expansive landscape. The lodge features a unique Sofa Safari where guests can watch wildlife gather at the waterhole without even leaving the lodge grounds. In addition, the Jamala Madikwe Watchtower overlooks the savannah and waterhole for remarkable views from up top. Guests can relax in the lounge and library which features a cozy fireplace for colder winter months. Treat yourself to the ultimate relaxing experience at the Jamala Madikwe Royal Spa, enjoy the large lap pool, and sip pre-dinner drinks at the open-air bar.
Jamala Madikwe ensures your comfort with a maximum of six guests per game drive vehicle. Sunrise and sunset safaris don’t only offer you the opportunity to experience wildlife at the most active time but also to witness extraordinary African skies as they turn to gold and crimson — the perfect photographic backdrop to the wild plains.
With indoor and outdoor dining spaces, dining at Jamala Madikwe is an experience in itself. Elegant plates of mouth-watering fusions will have you as excited about mealtimes as spotting the Big 5. Living up to the opulence of the royal lodge, gourmet cuisine here is a delight to the eyes as much as the taste buds.
