    Lalibela Game Reserve provides an array of safari experiences that cater to diverse interests. Guided game drives offer an opportunity to witness the majesty of African wildlife up close, while guided bush walks invite guests to connect with the smaller wonders of the reserve, including tracking animal prints and identifying native flora.

    Kichaka Lodge takes luxury and comfort to a whole new level. The lodge consists of ten secluded suites, each carefully designed to blend harmoniously with the surrounding landscape. These lavish suites are spacious, offering privacy and breathtaking views of the surrounding river and bushveld. Suites are an ideal setting for relaxation and feature private decks with heated plunge pools and outdoor showers.

    The main lodge is constructed in natural stone and thatch, and offers guests a large outdoor terrace overlooking a waterhole. There is a cocktail bar and sitting area, opening up onto a viewing deck where there are bar stools facing the waterhole. A rim flow swimming pool is set out on the main deck with loungers and outdoor lounge suite. Indoor and outdoor dinning takes place on the main deck and a traditional boma hosts fireside dinners under the stars.

    The reserve is a 1 hour 15 minutes drive from Port Elizabeth or a 9-hour drive from Cape Town, both on the scenic N2 highway. Driving from Cape Town takes you through the Garden Route for approximately 815km from which you will turn to the reserve entrance.
