Kariega Main Lodge is made up of air conditioned log chalets with large private viewing decks surrounding the main lodge. Children policy

Kariega Main Lodge welcome children of all ages. For children five years and under it is the guide’s and General Manager’s discretion as to whether they can be taken to sightings on the game drives of the more dangerous Big 5 for safety reasons.

By Road

The reserve is a 90-minute drive from Port Elizabeth or a 9-hour drive from Cape Town, both on the scenic N2 highway. Driving from Cape Town takes you through the Garden Route for approximately 858km from which you will turn to the reserve entrance.
