Nestled on the edge of Kruger National Park, Klaserie Private Nature Reserve spans 60,000 hectares, making it the largest private reserve in the Greater Kruger region. Renowned for its diverse landscapes, from towering trees to open floodplains and winding rivers, Klaserie offers guests an unparalleled wilderness experience and close encounters with the Big 5.
The Klaserie River winds through the reserve, providing a lifeline for elephants, buffalo, and a variety of other wildlife, while the reserve’s commitment to conservation protects its rich biodiversity. Guests may encounter endangered species such as wild dogs, saddle-billed storks, and southern ground hornbills, all thriving under Klaserie’s careful stewardship.
Klaserie Nature Reserve sets the standard for responsible ecotourism, limiting vehicle numbers to ensure intimate game drives and offering guided walking safaris that allow visitors to experience the bushveld on foot.
