Rhino Sands Safari Camp at Manyoni
The eco-friendly Rhino Sands luxury tented camp provides a magically authentic safari experience on a small peninsula in the Msunduze River in Manyoni Private Game Reserve. The entirety of the camp is set under canvas erected on timber platforms in the riverine forest. Designed with the environment in mind with little effect on the natural surrounds, electricity is solar-generated, meals are seasonal using organic produce and amenities are biodegradable.
Known as one of the premier Big 5 game viewing reserves in KwaZulu Natal, Manyoni Private Game Reserve offers exclusive game drives with close-up sightings and remarkable photographic opportunities. Along each game drive, guests have a chance to stop for morning coffee or an evening sundowner in the bush, providing special moments to soak in the surrounding natural beauty. Besides breath-taking Big 5 sightings guests can also see African wild dogs, cheetah zebra, giraffe and a variety of antelope. Hosting a total of 8 guests at a time, Rhino Sands guarantees an intimate and exclusive experience of ultimate bushveld indulgence and relaxation. Evenings are spent dining beside crackling fires under starlit skies, a remarkable experience in itself. Alternatively, meals are served in the dining tent, with an elegantly draped canvas ceiling and unique eco-chic décor. From game drives to meals and cooling off in your private plunge pool, Rhino Sands offers a bush experience like no other.
