Tawana Camp is a luxury safari camp in the south-eastern Moremi Game Reserve, part of Botswana’s Okavango Delta UNESCO World Heritage Site. Open year-round, it sits along the Gomoti River, where wildlife moves freely through the unfenced camp. The surrounding floodplains and riverine forests host large herds of antelope, predators, and abundant birdlife.
Tawana Camp has eight suites, including three family units. Each blends natural tones, local craftsmanship, and modern comfort. Suites feature private plunge pools, outdoor salas, and sweeping views of the floodplains. Raised walkways connect guests to shared spaces: a lounge, wine bar, wood-fired pizza oven, dining decks, and a library celebrating Moremi’s history. There’s also a lap pool, gym, and in-room spa treatments.
Activities at Tawana Camp focus on land-based game drives, scenic helicopter flights, and guided birding. Drives reveal lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, and over 400 bird species. Each season brings something unique, from dry-season predator gatherings to lush summer landscapes and migratory birds. Tawana offers refined luxury, exceptional wildlife, and a strong focus on conservation and local heritage.
