Chitwa Chitwa welcomes children of all ages. More Details From the age of 6 onwards, upon the dedicated guide approval, children will be permitted to participate with adults on safari. Children under 6 will not be allowed on game drives unless parents have the sole use of the vehicle.

The reserve is a 5.5-hour drive from Johannesburg mostly on the N12 and N4 highway. Road transfers from Skukuza Airport take 45 minutes, and from Kruger Mpumalanga Airport take 2.5 hours.
Fly from major centres in South Africa to Skukuza or Kruger Mpumalanga airport followed by a short air-hop to the Arathusa Airstrip.
