Little Sable is an intimate eight-room camp in the heart of Botswana’s 200,000-hectare Khwai Private Reserve, on the northern edge of the Okavango Delta. It was originally a small photographic camp and has grown into a stylish safari retreat. The camp sits within a private concession, ensuring an exclusive and uncrowded experience.
Guests can enjoy day and night game drives, guided bush walks, mokoro excursions, seasonal boating safaris, and time in photographic hides. Helicopter flights and Skybed sleepouts are also available for a unique perspective of the Delta. The camp’s design is stylish yet relaxed, with eight tents, including two family units. Each tent features private verandas, grassland views, and well-positioned hides for photography. Communal areas include a swimming pool, indoor and outdoor dining, and a spa with wellness treatments.
Little Sable is surrounded by diverse habitats. Mopane woodland, riverine forest, open floodplains, and winding waterways support over 50 mammal species. Large herds of elephant and buffalo are seen regularly. Predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and wild dogs share the reserve with an abundance of plains game. Game drives in open 4×4 vehicles are led by expert guides along floodplains and permanent water channels for year-round wildlife viewing.
