As one of South Africa’s premier Big 5 game reserves, Manyoni Private Game Reserve places a strong emphasis on endangered species conservation. The reserve is home to a large variety of wildlife including lion, cheetah, rhino, elephant, giraffe, hyena, buffalo, antelope and leopard.

    Leopard Mountain Lodge strives to indulge its guests in Mother Natures magnificence whether it be with inspired treatments at the Africology Spa, endless views from the lodge deck, on game drives out in the bush, or 5-star dining under a galaxy of stars.

    Wildlife:

    • Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino).
    • Other wildlife include but are not limited to the hippopotamus, giraffe, zebra, cheetah, Jackal, hyaena, vervet monkey, warthog and many other antelope species.
    • An abundance of birdlife can be seen in the reserve.

    Game Drives:

    • Game drives are taken in open 4×4 safari vehicles and are accompanied by a ranger, who will share a wealth of knowledge about the animals with you.
    • The game drives are 3 to 4 hours long and take place twice a day in the morning and afternoon.
    • Morning game drives are complimented by a coffee stop and a sundowner downer stop in the evening a remote location.
