    Pel's Post

Set on a tranquil riverbank and greeted each morning by the call of the African fish eagle, Pel’s Post is an intimate eco-luxury lodge offering just four open-air suites, each with panoramic views over the Luvuvhu River. Retractable, remote-controlled screens open the space entirely to the surrounding wilderness, creating a deep sense of immersion in nature.

Located in the remote Makuleke Concession, a spectacular, private corner of northern Kruger, Pel’s Post lies in one of Africa’s most breathtaking landscapes. Sweeping floodplains, craggy ridges, and dramatic sandstone gorges are framed by ancient baobabs and some of the largest fever tree forests in the world. This nutrient-rich terrain, shaped by the Luvuvhu and Limpopo Rivers, supports 80% of Kruger’s biodiversity, making it a prime location for both birding and Big Five sightings, often best experienced on foot.

Whether booked individually or exclusively for a private group, Pel’s Post is a rare blend of seclusion, natural beauty, and meaningful connection to Africa’s deep past.
