Sable Alley

Sable Alley is located in the heart of the 200,000-hectare Khwai Private Reserve, one of Botswana’s most exclusive wildlife areas. The lodge overlooks a lily-covered lagoon visited by elephants, buffalo, and hippos. It combines refined comfort with prime wildlife viewing from camp.

The surrounding habitats include open floodplains, mopane woodland, and riverine forest. These support predators such as lions, leopards, and wild dogs, along with large herds of plains game and over 350 bird species. Sable Alley contributes to conservation and community development. Revenue from stays supports Khwai Village projects and helps transform the area from a former hunting concession into a photographic safari destination.

Guests can enjoy both land and water-based safaris year-round. Highly experienced guides lead the activities, ensuring immersive experiences. The lodge’s setting, exclusivity, and conservation focus offer an authentic connection to the Okavango wilderness.
