Selinda Camp is an exclusive, handcrafted safari lodge located in northern Botswana, where the Selinda Spillway meets the Linyanti River, within the vast 130,000-hectare Selinda Reserve. Set in one of Africa’s last remaining pristine wilderness areas, this Relais & Châteaux member camp offers an exceptional blend of ecological harmony, refined luxury, and immersive wildlife experiences.

Designed by renowned conservationists Dereck and Beverly Joubert, Selinda Camp reflects the spirit of the African bush through a thoughtful design philosophy inspired by the five classical elements, Earth, Air, Water, Fire, and Metal, and incorporates handcrafted elements, natural textures, and cultural references throughout. With just three expansive guest suites and a private two-bedroom Selinda Suite, each featuring private plunge pools, outdoor decks, and elegant interiors reminiscent of early explorer style, the camp ensures exclusivity and comfort.

Selinda Explorers Camp is located along the Selinda Spillway in the Selinda Reserve, northern Botswana, on the northeastern outskirts of the Okavango Delta.

Getting There

The best way to get to Selinda Explorers Camp is to fly from Johannesburg to Maun or Kasane, followed by a flight via light aircraft to the Selinda airstrip.
Flight time from Johannesburg to Maun/Kasane: 1 hour 50 minutes.
Flight time from Maun to Selinda airstrip: 45 minutes.
Flight time from Kasane to Selinda airstrip: 55 minutes.

Child Policy

Selinda Explorer Camp welcomes children from 6 years and older.
Child rates are applicable for up to one child 15 and younger sharing with one adults in a tent.
Children 06 – 15 years pay 50% of the adult rate sharing with two adults in a suite.
The 2-bedroom family tent can accommodate a family of 4 guests.

Inclusions & Exclusions

Included: Wildlife viewing activities, all meals, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages (including premium brand spirits and champagne), return airstrip transfers and laundry services.
The return scheduled seat in plane air transfers from Maun and/or Kasane Airports, Great Plains properties and camp in the greater Okavango Delta and Linyanti/Savuti regions, are included in the nightly rate – subject to a minimum 2-night stay.
Excluded: Conservation levy and spa treatments.
