Singita Lebombo Lodge

Singita Lebombo Lodge offers an abundance of experiences including wine experiences, wellness, fitness centre, community projects, a wide range of children’s activities as well as first glass guided nature walks and game drives in open 4×4 safari vehicles. Wildlife including rhino, lion, buffalo, hippos, elephant, giraffe, zebra, antelope, and wild dogs can be seen from the lodges various private and communal viewing decks. Game drives are conducted by expert rangers and trackers working together to track the most amazing close-up animal sightings for guests. The area is also recognized as ‘Big Cat’ country, known for inspiring lion and leopard sightings. Home to fascinating flora and a large variety of birdlife, guided bushwalks give one a chance to see the smaller intricacies of the bush.
Wildlife:
- High concentration of Big 5 with large herds of elephant and buffalo, as well as large lion prides.
- Other wildlife include but are not limited to the hippopotamus, giraffe, zebra, cheetah, African wild dog, hyaena, warthog and many other cat and antelope species.
- Large antelope herds support the populations of predators in the reserve.
- Over 500 bird species have been recorded in the region. Many can be seen in the reserve.
Game Drives:
- Game drives take place twice a day in the early mornings and afternoons for a duration of 3-4 hours.
- Game drives are led by an experienced guide and tracker team.
- Vehicles are allowed to go off road to track and follow the wildlife.
- Strict traverse rules are in place and vehicle numbers are limited in each reserve. A maximum of two vehicles are allowed at any sighting.
- Night drives and guided bushwalks are permitted.

- Located in the Lebombo private concessions to the eastern side of the Kruger National Park, close to the border of Mozambique.
- The Kruger National Park is almost 2 million hectares and lies in the north-eastern corner of South Africa in the Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces.

- Satara private airstrip is the closet airstrip, two daily chartered flights from Johannesburg are operated by Federal Airlines.
- Skukuza (SKU) is the closet commercial airport to Lebombo Lodge, daily flights operate from Johannesburg and Cape Town.
- Flight time from Johannesburg to Satara private airstrip: 90 minutes
- Flight time from Johannesburg to Skukuza or Singita private airstrip: 60 minutes
- Flight time from Cape Town to Skukuza: 2 hours 30 minutess
- Road transfers from Satara to Lebombo take 2-3 hours.

Child Policy:
- Singita Lebombo Lodge welcomes children from 10 years.
- Children under 10 years can be accommodated in the 2-bedroom suite or villa with a private vehicle.
- Family suites are quoted 1-3 guests and an additional surcharge applies to an additional guest.
- Additional children 2-16 years sharing with an adult or another child pay 50% of the adult rate.
- Infants under the age of 2 years will be accommodated free of charge.
