The Amakhala Game Reserve is a malaria-free, private game reserve spanning over 8500 hectares of African landscape in the Eastern Cape. By Road

The reserve is a 1-hour drive from Port Elizabeth or a 9-hour drive from Cape Town, both on the scenic N2 highway. Driving from Cape Town takes you through the Garden Route for approximately 816km from which you will turn to the reserve entrance.
