With a family heritage emphasis, Londolozi Varty Camp is the base of many of the overall Londolozi guest activities including the fitness centre, boutique, photographic studio and incredible Healing House Spa, embracing the essence of wellness inspired by nature.  Londolozi Varty Camp comprises 8 Chalets and 2 Superior Chalets with an origional camp design of brick paths, dolerite rock walls, and waterfalls.  Each suite has its own private plunge pool and outdoor dining sala, edged by raised timber decks and the shade of the riverine forest.  Superior chalets also feature an outdoor shower. Londolozi Varty Camp offers a luxurious sanctuary of wellbeing, with a close connection to the essence of nature’s intricate beauty.

    This privately owned reserve offers an authentic African wildlife experience providing exceptional game drives and some of the best luxury safaris in South Africa. With over 16,000 hectares of breath-taking wilderness, the family-run private reserve boasts an abundance of Africa’s finest wildlife including the Big 5 and some of the highest concentrations of white rhino and lion. Safari game drives take place in open land rovers guided by some of the best game rangers in the world. Morning game drives include coffee and snacks, while breakfast and lunch can be enjoyed in the luxurious yet relaxed bush environment. An indulgent high tea is served before sundowners are savoured with magnificent sunset views on the evening game drives. The day ends off with culinary delights under the African skies prepared from homegrown organic produce and free-range game.

    Londolozi is renowned as a photographic haven and the origional premier Big Five photographic safari destination in South Africa. The reserve is host to an abundance of professional photographic equipment for hire as well as a studio where you can edit and print your photos on canvas after embarking on a photographic safari with private safari vehicles and guides. In addition to Londolozi Varty camp, the private reserve is home to four other exclusive lodges; Tree Camp, Founders Camp, Pioneer Camp and the Granite Suites.

    Travel

    By Road

    The reserve is a 5- to 6-hour drive from Johannesburg mostly on the N12 and N4 highway. Londolozi is a 2-hour drive from Kruger Mpumalanga Airport or a 45-minute drive from Skukuza Airport.

    Fly from major centres in South Africa to Skukuza or Kruger Mpumalanga airport. Alternatively, take a charter flight to the Londolozi Airstrip.
