Eagles Crag Lodge

Sindile, Shamwari Reserve’s newly built camp addition, is a secluded luxury tent site that lies deep in the African wilderness. Solitary and elevated in stature, the camp blends in beautifully with its natural environment as it delivers remarkable uninhibited perspectives of its wild surroundings.
Magnificent views and privacy aren’t all that visitors get at this lovely camp site; it is also armed to the teeth with amenities. Facilities include a dining room with fireplace, a deck with firepit and a bar and lounge with a large-screen TV. Moreover, there is a relaxation retreat. The tents themselves (there are nine of them) are loaded with creature comforts, and each tent has its own heated plunge pool and lounge.

Explorer Tented Bush Camp
During the summer months – October through May – Shamwari Game Reserve in South Africa opens up their Explorer Camp for two-night guided walking safaris. This option exists for adventurous guests who want to experience an authentic African bush adventure where the Big Five roam free.
Explorer Camp houses three tents that are simplistic and private yet well equipped. Each one provides two single beds, a bathroom and shower and camping essentials like LED light. There are also facilities like a viewing deck, a plunge pool and a dining lounge and portable bar. Count on fine campfire dining at Explorer in the evenings. In the mornings, guests wake up to tea and coffee outside their tents.
